Sponsorship & Independence
How sponsorship and support are disclosed and kept separate from editorial decisions. Click a section to open it.
01Policy▾
Neo Civic Education: Media Kajian Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan states openly who supports the journal, and does not let any supporter influence editorial decisions. This follows Principles 10 (Ownership and management) and 14 (Business practices and revenue sources) of the COPE/DOAJ/OASPA/WAME Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, and the COPE Core Practice on journal management.
| Commercial sponsors | None. The journal has no commercial sponsor. |
| Sponsored content | None. The journal publishes no sponsored articles, sponsored supplements, or sponsored special issues. |
| Advertising | None. See the Advertising Policy. |
02Who supports the journal▾
| Universitas Negeri Manado | Owner and publisher. Funds and hosts the journal. See Ownership and Management. |
| AP3KnI | Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Indonesia. Collaboration partner since 2019; co-funds the journal with UNIMA. |
| Author fees | None. The journal charges no submission, review, or publication fees. See Author Fees and Revenue and Business Model. |
03Editorial independence▾
— The publisher, AP3KnI, and any other supporter have no role in deciding which manuscripts are reviewed, accepted, or published.
— Supporters cannot see manuscripts or reviews, choose reviewers, or ask for changes to content.
— Editors who have a conflict of interest with a supporter step aside from the manuscript. See Conflict of Interest.
— Manuscripts by authors from UNIMA or AP3KnI go through the same double-anonymous peer review as all other manuscripts. See the Peer Review Process.
04If the journal accepts new support▾
The journal may accept support, such as grants for open access, conferences, or special issues, only on these conditions:
1. The supporter and the nature of the support are named on this page before the support starts.
2. Every supported article or issue goes through the journal’s normal peer review, and the editors keep full control of content and decisions.
3. Supported content carries a clear statement of the support.
4. Support that comes with conditions on content, authors, or outcomes is declined.
05Funding of the research itself▾
Research funding is different from sponsorship of the journal. Authors name every funder of their research, the grant number, and the funder’s role in a Funding statement, and declare any conflict of interest. See Publication Ethics and Conflict of Interest.
